Beyond Larissa was founded by visual artist Larissa D’sa in 2020.
The name Larissa derives from ancient Greek and serves as the appellate of one of Neptune’s moons. Beyond Larissa, quite literally means ‘beyond the moon’ - suggesting a purpose beyond the expected and a quest beyond the usual. The atelier aligns itself with an evolving aesthetic sensibility inspired by the everyday as well as the extraordinary.
Thoughtfully curated to feature exceptionally crafted works that include both perennial essentials and collectible rarities, the handset pieces embody a balance of indivdiuality that is relatable, rare and resplendent.

The final pieces are stories that narrate a singular sense of style through precious, hand-selected metals and stones that carry both symbolic and intrinsic value.
The Sensibility
Paying close attention to the versatile compositions and energies of precious materials, Larissa hand-selects each element to resonate with specific memories, musings and moments collated over the course of extensive travels around the world as well as emotional sojourns that, in each of us, stand as symphonic odes to the kaleidoscopic seasons of life itself.
The versatile composition of Larissa’s designs range from delicately carved statement pieces reflective of the Victorian-era to symmetrically gilded Art Deco cuts and hand-set bohemian baubles.
The Process
Larissa’s exclusive and evolving conceptualisations begin as hand-sketched designs at her home studio in Goa. They carry forward to sourcing and crafting stations established in 1939 at the historic atelier of Valchandson Jewellers in Mumbai. Over nearly a century of practicing the art of handmade jewellery, the fourth generation house has mastered meticulous craftsmanship that pairs a comprehensive range of techniques and precious materials to render exceptional results.
